First Class Cabins welcomes Papa Bear's Den to our rental program. Papa Bear's Den is a gorgeous 5 bedroom/4 bathroom cabin with great privacy and is the perfect spot for your next family vacation or couples retreat.

There is ample outdoor seating on all of the decks and the mountain views are breathtaking. The main level deck has a sunken hot tub in addition to an outdoor wood burning fireplace.

Spring time in Blue Ridge, GA is a must see event. Come stay at First Class Cabins in Blue Ridge and enjoy our luxury cabin accomodations for each of the following events:

Travis Tritt in concert ... April 16, 2010 at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. Click on their website for more information.

Blue Ridge Spring Fest ... 6th annual arts & crafts show, featuring pottery, wood carvings, quilts, canned goods, and MUCH MUCH more. Hours are 9am-5pm over 2 weekends - April 17 & 18, and April 24 & 25.

Apple Blossom Tour ... at Mercier Orchards. Saturday April 17 from 10am-5pm.

Bike Race Cohutta 100 and Big Frog 65 ... This is a very beautiful and scenic bike race with significant elevation changes throughout the race. The race will occur April 24, 2010 with the Cohutta 100 starting at 7am followed by the Big Frog 65 starting at 7:15am. Click here for more details.

Spring Time in Blue Ridge, GA

ALL ABOARD ... The Blue Ridge Scenic Railway is running once again. Come ride the Easter EGG-spress on Saturday April 3 @ 4pm. Make sure you bring an easter basket and ride out to farmer Brown's field where the children can hunt for Easter eggs and meet the Easter Bunny. Railway fare for those 2 years old and older is $16.

Mountain Adventure Race ... 13th annual adventure race. Run, Mountain Bike, and Kayak the Toccoa River. Race starts at 8:00am sharp on April 10, 2010. At 1:00pm there will be live music, food and fun.

Easter Egg hunt and parade (Downtown Blue Ridge City Park) ... April 3rd, 2010. Easter Egg hunt starts at 11am, parade at 11:30. Come early, reservations required. Breakfast and photo with the Easter Bunny at 9am at LLBeanery or Serenity Gardens. Event is sponsored by "Light Up Blue Ridge". Call Lynda Thompson for additional details at 706.889.7415.

Easter Jubilee at the Lilly Pad Village ... 7.5 miles out Aska Rd on your left. This event runs from 11:00am - 3:00pm on April 3, 2010. Photos with the Easter Bunny, Easter Egg hunt (bring your own basket), arts & crafts vendors, live music, hot dogs, chips, and beverages. Admission $5/person, kids under age 10 are free.

FIRST CLASS CABINS RENTALS HAS A NEW OWNER

We just wanted to update everyone on a recent change in our office.

In effort to work toward our longterm goal of being closer to family (TX & KS), we have sold our business to a new couple: Mike & Julie Schultheis.

Mike & Julie are excited about having the opportunity to become part of the Blue Ridge business community and look forward to meeting everyone.

We feel that they will do a great job and continue our goal of building excellence in the North Georgia mountain lodging market.

Just spent half a day at the spa - specifically Serenity in the Mountains here in Blue Ridge, GA.
