We continue to be asked “is this the bottom?”. While no one can answer that for sure, we really do believe that it is.
Many of those we’ve spoken to have little interest in continuing to fund a failing stock portfolio and feel that the future of real estate is much more positive in regard to investment. We agree!
With the new commercial development projects that appear to be moving forward, we are very optimistic about the Blue Ridge real estate market in summer 2009 – 2010 and beyond.
On a different note, several of the buyers we’ve spoken to have been concerned that money would not be available for loans, but we have not found that to be the case for qualified buyers.
Has anyone experienced a lag in real estate mortgage funding?
